Hello Autumn! These days Amsterdam is facing the grey sky in vegan unity: the Amsterdam based vegan and green fashion label Osier launched a wonderful collaborative campaign (and beautiful vegan collection of accessories based on apple skin) on the occasion of it’s 4th birthday. Involved are a bunch of Amsterdam based sustainable fashion fighters, and Esther was also invited to share her motivation for advocating fair fashion.

Hallo Herbst!

Female Entrepreneurship at its best

Oh Osier, our most wonderful discovery of the new Amsterdam Adventure. It’s not only the design of the chic and classic accessorie collections which blend effortlessly into our wardrobes that absolutely convinced us at first sight – but especially Theresa, the woman behind the label. Osier is female entrepreneurship at its finest for me. And not only female, but ethical entrepreneurship. The material of the vegan bags consists of a mix of synthetic materials and apple waste, all produced in Italy. This makes the bags not only cruelty free but also much more sustainable than ordinary synthetic leather. Moreover, the bags are manufactured under fair conditions in Bucharest.

P.S. If you were wondering about the shirt, carrying the Osier Logo by the way: It is made of organic cotton, produced in Croatia and for each shirt sold five trees are being donated to support the reconstruction of the Brazilian rainforest. Support the cause here.
