Outfit of the Week No. 14
It’s been to short as always when celebrating reunions with Esther, during all the times we have been living apart, meeting in several cities we called home at that time. (So, I guess, at the very bottom you now can see my I-don’t-wanna-leave-sosoon-face.)
To focus on the brighter sides of life: We had some ueber-fun vintage shopping trips and I’ve been taking a few new colorful treasures home to Hamburg with me – talking this dress, for example. Allow me the joy of treating clothing like little postcards. Also, I’ve been testing the pair of sneakers Lüneburg-based ethical and green fashion label Melawear send us the other day. As they’ve been neighbors in Lüneburg for a while, we were happy to help testing their product. To make it short: Their quality is wonderful, the design beautifully thought through (the shoes come with two pairs of differently colored laces!) and the pair was easily worn-in during the past week without looking too worn-through. They told us to get a size bigger, as they run quite small – we both agreed that they are pretty true to our sizes though!
Can you tell the fun I had with the sudden street credibility of black and white sneakers – a street fashion item I’ve never really tried before?
